Cancelling a request before the deposit
Easy and free. Sign in, open the request from "My Requests", and use the cancel link. We send a confirmation email and the request closes the same day. There is nothing to refund — no deposit has been taken yet.
The Saudi Energy permit on your side stays open. SE permits do not expire for 90 days, so if you change your mind in the next quarter you can still come back, pick a contractor, and continue.
Cancelling after the deposit
The 25% deposit is fully refundable until the crew is dispatched. Once a crew has been scheduled and the day-before WhatsApp has gone out, a 10% restocking fee applies if the charger has already shipped from the warehouse to the local depot.
Practically: cancel before the day-before message and you get a full refund within 5 business days. Cancel after the message and we deduct the restocking fee and refund the rest.
Cancelling after install
After the unit is on the wall, the install itself cannot be undone — the cable run, the conduit, the panel work are physical changes to your property. What you can do:
- Return the charger within 14 days: full refund of the unit cost, minus a 100 SAR de-installation fee. We send the same crew back to remove the unit and cap the cable safely. The cable run stays in place (you cannot reverse it without re-plastering).
- Transfer to a new owner: if you are selling the house, the warranty transfers with the unit at no charge. Just message us with the new owner's name and phone.
Deleting your IMDADTECH account
The account is separate from the request. If you delete the account, your past requests stay on file (we are required to retain installation records for 7 years for warranty and SE audit purposes) but you stop receiving emails and you can no longer sign in.
To delete: sign in, open Profile, scroll to the bottom, use "Delete account". You will receive a confirmation email and the account is gone within 24 hours. If you change your mind in that window, just sign in again and the deletion is cancelled.
Data you can ask us to export first
Before deleting, you can request a copy of everything on file: request history, photos you uploaded, comments, invoices. The email goes to a real person on the support team and the export usually arrives within 48 hours as a single zip.
